I had high tibial osteotomy surgery on both knees with Dr. Herrera, hoping to correct my bow legs. After going through two surgeries and recovery, my legs are still visibly bowed — nothing changed. In fact, I’m worse off now than before the surgeries. What’s even more frustrating is that there’s no record of proper pre-op planning. This isn’t for the doctor, because I never even got to meet him. I was ghosted by his staff after scheduling a virtual appointment a month in advance. His assistant’s voicemail was full and she does not reply to emails. At this point I don’t even know if this is a real medical office.
