Absolutely terrible scheduling. Both of my children have had multiple brain surgeries. Migraine issues that require Botox. We deal with neurosurgery and neurology, almost on a weekly basis. I’m not even kidding every time I have to call in to get Botox injections which is about every 2 months. It takes at least a month to even schedule. It is getting so ridiculous that this has gone on for years, you better believe I’ll be leaving reviews until there’s some sort of resolution… Like I said this has been going on for years so ... read more
Dr. Sweney is knowledgeable, thorough and compassionate. My two year old daughter is normally very anxious with doctors, but he had her calm and even laughing by the end. I was deeply impressed by his ability to empathize and connect with my daughter and me. He took time to understand our concerns and didn’t demean, patronize or rush through. I can confidently recommend him as the best physician I’ve worked with in Utah.
Dr. Sweney is awesome… if you ever get to talk to him. My 1 old year was having an scary increase of seizures so naturally we wanted to know what to do, but the effort it took to get a hold of the doctor and get an answer was the hardest thing you’ll ever do. It was almost 24 hours later, and calling 5-6 times before we got an answer on what to do. They’re only seizures, no big deal right. Not. If Dr. Sweney wasn’t with the U of U or affiliated with Primary Children’s/IHC he’d be awesome. But where he works kills my opinion ... read more
Cant thank Dr. Sweeney enough him and Dr. Bolo changed our lives our son is going on 6 years seizure free.
Dr. Sweeney had great bedside manner and took the time to explain the tests that were being performed and why we were doing them and different diagnoses. After each test, he called and explained the results (again in easy to understand terms) and the next steps and the likely outcomes. He never showed any signs of irritation at all of my questions and concerns. He was so knowledgeable and caring. I would recommend him!
