I had surgery a few months ago on my low back, specifically a fusion on L4-5. I have had excellent results, and Dr. Miller was wonderful.
Very professional, excellent people skills, great office staff.
Pinpointed my condition and corrected by back problems that I had for years. I can't thank him enough.
There's not enough character to explain the whole story in detail, but I have hydrocephalus and I asked him to order an MRI because I was concerned about my shunt. He refused to do that and shortly after I ended up in the ER with fluid on my brain needing emergency surgery. He did the surgery and I had to go back a week later and have another surgery because he did not do it correctly. Does not listen to patients and was not competent in the OR. I could have died.
I received a recommendation from the nurses who work in surgery that Dr. Miller was the best! And their assessment held true! Dr. Miller was warm and engaging. He explained everything very clearly even giving some great analogies. In my case, he did not recommend surgery and explained succinctly why not. He is an honest and smart doctor who understands the importance of word of mouth. I highly recommend Dr. Matthew Miller!
He's very professional and a very personable neurosurgeon. He uses the latest surgical techniques for the best outcome. Once referred to Dr. Miller; he and Sarah Crawford, NP, listened to all my concerns, explained the whole process very thoroughly and scheduled my surgery ASAP. There was an unexpected find once in surgery. I am so appreciative that Dr. Miller was able to take the extra time and resolve the issue. There's no guarantee of being pain free after surgery, I'm fortunate-pain free!
He and is staff are about as nice and wholesome as they come and very professional. he knows his work.
