Dr. Matthew Miller performed two spine surgeries on me for two different problems about 15 months apart. My condition was diagnosed very quickly and correctly and surgery was scheduled within 3 days. My back and leg pain and muscle and nerve damage was debilitating and the surgery that Dr. Miller performed brought my life and activities back to near normal. Dr. Miller has treated me for lower back problems for almost 2 years. I recently had a lumbar 4-5 fusion. Complete relief of severe leg and foot pain/numbness. I would highly recommend Dr. Miller for any spine issues!
I am 75 years old and had broken my back, lumbar region, in mid July. My right knee would buckle with no warning and even with a walker I would end up on the floor. 6 falls and two trips to the ER later and I was wearing a back brace and taking pain pills. A referral to Dr Miller, a surgical procedure followed and I was walking with my walker with little pain that first night , a week after going home I gave up the walker for a cane and no back brace. Words are inadequate. Thank you Dr Miller.
Dr. Miller and his caring team gave me my life back. I had a spinal cord compression which resulted in me becoming progressively weaker over a period of one year. My exam, conducted by nurse practitioner Sarah Crawford was extremely thorough. Surgery was scheduled quickly and at the hospital several members of the surgical team came in to introduce themselves. I felt genuinely cared for before, during and after surgery. I would recommend Dr Miller and his team to anyone.

I first saw Dr. Miller with pain radiating down both legs. After many tests (CT scan, MRI's and Xrays) and pain medication trials we decided that surgery was the only option. Dr. Miller and his assistant Sarah Crawford performed spinal fusion surgery to correct my Lumbar Spondylosis. I am pain free today thanks to their diligent and expert care.
Kind and thorough. He is brisk and professional but still very pleasant and i felt he truly cared about me. Also clearly was not inclined to jump into a somewhat complicated procedure without giving the condition time and more evaluation. I also appreciated his NP, Sara Crawford, who was helpful and attentive in my pre and immediate post op period.
