Dr Heaton and Leslie are “top notch”. I suffered a stroke on Monday, August 4, 2025, and was scheduled for an extraction on Friday, August 8. As expected, that was not able to happen. The tooth started giving me pain, and I was an absolute nervous wreck! Leslie orchestrated getting special permission from my neurologist and she and Dr Heaton were able to work a miracle and get the tooth out. Did I say I was a nervous wreck!!!!! He takes his time to thoroughly examine you, explain everything clearly, and offer the best possible options and recommendations based on your unique situation. His professionalism and deep knowledge are immediately evident, and he makes you feel comfortable and confident in the care you’re receiving. Dr Heaton and his team are absolutely fantastic! And I can’t believe I’m saying that about a Periodontist office L O L. Taking me on as a patient with an emergency situation left me a little bit apprehensive, after a tooth extraction and soon to be deep cleaning I could not be happier with the teams’ professionalism, kindness, and focus on patient comfort during this critical time. There is no place better for periodontal care than Dr Heaton and nurse Tiffany. Dr Heaton really talks with you, explains everything fully and is very calm, which keeps me calm too! The work was painless and instructions for after care were clear. The whole staff is friendly, the office is fresh, and my appointments were on time. Can't recommend more highly
