I went in to see Dr Johnston for knee surgery and the practice was well aware of my severe spine issues before hand. Not sure how I was handled in surgery but back/spine issues were extreme. I was unable to sleep in my bed for 5 weeks and could not walk without crutches for that period. Ended up in ER 2 days after surgery with bleeding into thigh, ER says they requested Dr but did not arrive. Unsure why but office visit next day to take off blood. Knee worse today than before surgery
Total knee replacement was very successful. Most of my contact was with his PA, but very satisfied with her level of expertise. Office is efficient and personalized.
He did my total knee replacement in Sept 2015. He is caring, knows what he is doing, jovial, pays attention to what the patient says. I have recommended him to two friends and they have both seen him. He will be operating on one in May.
Lacks skill. Did very unsatisfactory surgery. Constant pain, daily suffering:(
Very thorough, takes all the time necessary to make sure you understand everything and have no further questions or concerns. Great bed-side manner
