Dr. Abbate is so kind, professional and thorough. He's been my PCP for almost eight years and will patiently go "above and beyond" to help you.
My elderly mother is a patient of Dr. Abate. Just over a year ago she had an accident. At that time, I called over to his office requesting a list of her medications be faxed to the hospital prior to taking her to the emergency room. The hospital never received a fax, which resulted in her being given the wrong medication to treat her pain, which resulted in her having a serious cognitive episode leading to her hospitalization for over a week.
