I've been here four times for prostate in the last 1 1/2 years. I've had to wait for an hour nearly every time. I've only had an exam once. The office is very unorganized.
Plan on waiting at least an hour in their crowded waiting room. Dr. forgot what husband was there for, when reminded, he said to make another appointment. I never felt that he really cared about my husband, that he was just another number. Probably a good surgeon, but otherwise not impressed.
I wish I would have known about Dr Karlovsky before I had a different urologist do my surgery. Wait time was very reasonable...not long at all. Besides, I don't mind waiting for the right doctor, well worth it. I wasn't rushed in and out as I was with my previous surgeon. I am looking forward to Dr Karlovsky repairing the previous surgery I recently had.
Dr. Karlovsky was wonderful and very helpful. Dealing with his office staff is a different story. I found them to be very impatient, unhelpful, and defensive. I will continue to see Dr. Karlovsky and just hope he hires some new office people.
Dr. Karlovsky was great. His staff is why I will not be returning. I was having a lot of pain and couldn't wait 3 weeks for the follow up appointment. Left several messages and never received a call back. No sure how an office can function when no one communicates with patients. Very disappointed.
My own personal experience with Dr. Karlovsky was great. He was very supportive and professional. However my experience with the office staff was horrible. I called and called to try to get an appointment, I left a message for someone to reach me. I called again. Since it had been over four hours and still nothing. I am finally transferred to whom I left a message with named Lorraine. She was beyond rude and found it offensive as to why I was calling again. She got all my Info and did nothing.
