Look elsewhere in our opinion. The lack of competency in the Front & Rear office staff is overwhelming and worrisome when we mentioned this to Dr Karlovsky he said the front office is new, and short staffed. For us….Now plan is to Find another urology practice.
The office was called on numerous occasions and phone calls were never returned. I had a procedure that needed follow up and they allowed me to fall through the cracks. I called the office and there was no voicemail available and no one to talk to. The doctor and his staff never followed up. I finally reached someone in the office and said that I would be complaining to Medicare and my insurance company about the quality of care I was receiving. Chronic UTIs over 4 month period. He has been timely, kind & persistent with my issues. Takes the time needed to answer all questions.
Excellent Dr. Super, Professional many of my friends are his patients and and feel he is one of the BEST in his field. Highly recommend his if you are in need of a UROLOGIST!
Dr.Karlovsky is the best-- took care of my kidney stones that i have had for years---always had stones and over the 25 years or so, had them removed surgical--blasted in a water bed etc.the procedure he did in March & April took care of the rest of them--- Happy I found the best doctor here in Arizona---thank you DR. K
Not only am I a patient, I've had multiple surgeries. I was pretty young at the time & very worried/stressed. By the time the doctor was done speaking w/ me, I was excited for surgery... happy to get treated. i recovered quickly. And SURE, we wait & wait but if you want a Dr who is LESS in demand, go ahead & find one. Hes amazing. If anyone leaves a bad review, it's prob because their wife has a crush on Dr.Karlovsky. Ive never left reviews before, but when I saw a score less than 3.5, I had to!
Dr. Karlovsky is an excellent doctor. However, his staff and phone system is impossible to navigate. No matter how great a doctor you are, if patients can’t communicate with you, then what does it matter? Unfortunately I cannot reccomend Dr. Karlovsky because of lack of communication with his staff.
Dr. Matthew Karlovsky saved my life. After years of pain and seven different doctors, I went to Dr, Karlovsky. I thought he would tell me I had Intersticial Cystitis like all the rest, but, instead, he decided to do a pelvic floor examination. He discovered it was my pelvic floor causing all of my urinary symptoms! He prescribed a very low dose of valium to calm my pelvic floor as well as Physical Therapy and it worked! Diagnoses: Pelvic Floor Tension Myalgia. This man is a miracle worker!
