I went to see Dr. Pravdin after giving birth to receive a second opinion on my issue. Long story short, she didn’t even want to examine me because she “she already knew what was wrong”and her attitude overall was indifferent and reluctant. I felt like I came to beg for service instead of fairly receiving it . To me personally it was time, energy and money wasted on this appointment since it did not make any difference on my issue. Thankfully I received help through a different doctor.
Dr Pravdin is an amazing Doctor. I have been seeing her for 10 years. During that time, she was with us through several loses and to deliver 2 healthy daughters. She listens to me as the patient, which is why I will always want her as my doctor. Her staff is also amazing.
If you are going to Freyja for in network care be cautious if they are going to do testing!! Dr. Pravdin is in network for me and she said she was going to send a sample to a lab for testing. A few weeks later I got a bill from a lab in New Jersey for OVER $1000!. I called my insurance to ask why this happened when I have had the same tests done before and only paid a $20 co-pay and they said it's because they sent my sample to GenPath labs which is out of network. Always ask to stay in network!
Dr. Pravdin was friendly enough; however, when she decided to change my medication, she did not explain the side effects of the new medication and how it would change from my current medication. I came in for a routine yearly exam and they accidentally didn't include my insurance info to the billing company and lab, who charged me full price. It took an hour on the phone to fix this. They were also supposed to mail me results from a test, and didn't until I called. Disappointing.
