This was the worst dental office i have ever seen. The dr. Urbach has very little patience with young children especially scared first timers who have never been to a dentist before. The office is extremely chaotic with children running around everywhere. The only positive experience was the front desk and dental techs were very pleasant. Unfortunately, it does not overshine how rude and obnoxious dr. Urbach acted. Extremely unprofessional.
My daughter Lilyette is being a patient there for 5yrs. One of my friends referred me Dr. Urbach, she also takes her daughters to him eversince they were little. We are very happy since the first time; every body makes it comfortable specially for the kids, my daughter likes to go get her teeth done, because while she waits she gets to play at he waiting area w/ others and to watch a movie.
One of the best pediatric dentist in the business. I come all the way from Kingwood!
huge practice, overcrowded. My special needs child was humiliated by a dental hygienist who kept telling us he belonged in an adult practice, despite having been with Dr. U. for his whole life. Chart was incomplete; hygienist argued with me (mom) about whether he had had preventive sealant care. This had been done under sedation in that office, for a cost exceeding $2,000 because of the need for an anesthesiologist. Front desk staff always nice, but the "chair side manners" left me in tears, my developmentally disabled child... read more
My daughter went to see Dr.Urbach after she had a accident on her scooter. He worked wonders and she is under treatment with him still. We love the office and the staff.
I did notice that Dr. Urbach nicked another of his patients in the mouth with his dentist hook due to his hands that kept moving as he talked with them in the child's mouth, but we haven't actually had treatment yet, and he seems very knowledgeable and has been strongly recommended by others.
I'm lazy so this is an excerpt from a note I sent a mom in my playgroup... I ended up using Mark Urbach. It was the Fri before some minor holiday and he was the only one around and xxx was crying about her "tooth hurting" (turned out to be a mouth ulcer). His name was mentioned on a question on our list...no replies, of course, stupid rule. She loved the office with its videos, trains, toy prizes to choose, funny dentist, nice higenist, etc. and had a very pleasant experience and came back downright happily and enjoyed her 1... read more
Dr. Urbach and his team make our children feel right at home. There are few practicioners that would go the the length and trouble that they do.
I like Dr. Urback however, he seems to be in his own little world when you are trying to ask him questions.
