My insurance company listed this as the closest eye care provider and boy what a disaster. Dr. Caruso was the provider that saw me. No personality whatsoever but that's not the worst of it. He tries to run a scam stating I received a "premium" contact lens exam and charging me a "premium" fee. I've been wearing contacts for over 20 years and have never had a doctor tell me that. This was my second time coming here to get an eye exam and purchase glasses. Great experience. Very friendly and professional.
I was hesitant to see an eye doctor located inside a discount store, but very glad that I changed my mind. Prior to that, I had gone to another highly recommended eye doctor, who wrote me a terrible prescription. For several weeks, I struggled to read and was bumping into things. Dr. Caruso immediately knew that my lenses were less than half of the strength needed for my eyes, nor did they have any astigmatism correction that I need for both eyes.
