Dr Magner is a fantastic surgeon, who I would highly recommend.He was very thorough prior to surgery, explaining in great detail what was to take place - very thoughtful and patient with my questions.He came to see me each day I was in the hospital, which speaks to the care he has for his patients.I am very grateful

Dr. Magner is a great captain of the decision making team when circumstances require consideration of complex treatments. He's a neurosugeon, but listens to his parents and not predisposed to only surgical treatments. His pre and post treatment communication is clear and detailed. I'd recommend him to a family member.
Dr Magner is a true professional and extremely competent. I went in with bad scoliosis, stenosis, and radicular nerve pain. After trying all other non-surgical solutions, he offered three surgical options. I chose the middle one and had an extensive surgery. He explained that the first few weeks would be tough and they were. After that, recovery progressed quickly. At 6 months, I am playing golf, bowling, hiking and swimming a mile 3 days per week. Dr Magner is an exceptional neurosurgeon. I recently had a successful back surgery. I found Dr Magner and his staff to be transparent, kind, respectful, and highly competent. My postoperative session was excellent. He showed me my images, checked my mobility and provided clear next steps.
Dr. Magner did a wonderful job on my micro discectomy. During office visits he was punctual and polite and answered all my questions. He was thorough and I always left with printed instructions for next steps. Before surgery we tried PT and a steroid injection, and he was confident in directing every step of my journey up through surgery. He never offered surgery as the first solution, which I appreciated. I last talk to him while he was in Denver. I was home after having a fusion he talked me out of, and he told me to call Christ Hospital & then he called back not knowing my RN & PT was sitting here heard every word he spoke badly about someone here& DR. MARK MARGNER. You knew Christ Hospital was going to have me get in touch with the board. Instead of you being honest you hung me out to dry. I originally met with Dr Magner because my hand was tingling and numb when I slept and a lot during the day. I went to physical therapy, had steroid treatment first and then decided to have surgery. Dr Magner was wonderful through the entire process. The surgery went great! My hand has no more tinging and numbness and I couldn’t be happier! I would highly recommend him!!
I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Magner. Dr. Magner is not only incredibly knowledgeable and skilled but also takes the time to truly listen and address every concern.
