This poor report is reflective of Dr. Meyer's staff. From the women who answer the phone at his Corporate Drive location to the staff at the Surgical Center at Premier. It took 3 months to get an appointment for a cortisone shot. They shredded my insurance authorization because they hadn't heard from me in 2 weeks. So I had to go through that ordeal of contacting my provider, getting another auth, etc. Then their staff tells me "Don't call us, we'll call you" each time I call to make an appointment. I have dealt with several Dr's over the last few years, and Dr Meyer is one of only a very few who did not come across as an uncaring, arrogant, jerk. I read the earlier negative comment about Dr Meyer, and was apprehensive about seeing him, as I have had several unpleasant experiences with Dr's. Every pain Dr in this area evaluates a patient before deciding if they will take them as a patient. Dr Meyer is a good Dr, and I think whoever wrote the earlier comment, has some "issues" that have nothing to do with Dr Meyer.

Treats patients absolutely inhumanely and without dignity!!! First "screens" referrals whether he will accept cases, and then violates his own "random, if you are prescribed narcotics drug test policy." Decided all patients must have drug tests every visit, even if you have never been seen by him or if you are not taking narcotics! When I asked to simply discuss my case with him, he refused unless I took a drug test (his staff was commensurately rude and non-helpful).
