I had severe whiplash and nerve damage from a car wreck. He put me on pain meds and was persistent that I needed surgery. So much tho, that he told me I could just leave my 2 year old in a crib all day everyday while I recovered because I wouldn't be able to lift anything. After agreeing to surgery, I thought better and got a 2nd and 3rd opinion. Both doctors said without a doubt that I DID NOT NEED ANY type of surgery!! I'm so glad I didn't let this man do the procedure he wanted to do which included taking out part of my n... read more

Absolutely a potato. I have osteoarthritis...especially in my lower lumbar and went to him for perhaps some shots. He looked at me and asked why do I think I have lower back pain. I replied that I was told it was because of osteoarthritis. He laughed and pointed at my belly. I was mortified. He didn't even review the CT. He offered PT. I left really mad. I told my rheumatologist what he said and she was aghast. She said that no it's not the belly it's the osteoarthritis. After review other experiences, I can see that what I ... read more

I would not recommend Mark Myers. He is very arrogant and useless. He didn't offer any treatment for my neck or back pain. He just said will its not bad enough for surgery and there's really nothing you can do for it. He also never did anything with my neck or back. He tested the strength in my arms. Useless!! I wish there were less than 1 star.

I strongly recommend avoiding Dr. Mark Myers at all cost. My elderly mother suffered a compression fracture in her back following a stairway fall. As directed by the Shelbyville ER, at the first weekday I attempted to schedule an appointment with Dr. David McConda, but he was on vacation so they switched us to Mark Myers. I not going to refer to Myers as a doctor because I don’t think he is one. As many of the other reviews stated, he was very arrogant and outright rude to my mother and me. He would not give any prescription... read more

I was a patient of Dr. Myers for two years and never got better. All he recommended was two rounds of PT and trying a chiropractor. When that didnt work he told me to just lose weight because I was too young for surgery. I went to a new doctor this spring who actually looked at my MRI images and found I had a compressed nerve between my L4 and L5. That doctor performed surgery and I am 3 weeks out and finally pain free for the first time in 3 years. I would not recommend Dr. Myers.

Was sent a report, so i could forward to SSA. The report its self if a joke. Goes on in the report saying i, "exaggerated pain behavior", and i have "apparent poor effort" in flexing. He also goes on saying that i "became belligerent". The problem is he NEVER EXAMINED ME! This report is FALSE!. Yes i become belligerent after he went off on me about how he does not use computers and wanted paper records/films. Was in his office for all of 5 mins if that. Have witnesses to this as well
