I was referred to him from another MD. It was clear that Dr. Wunnava had taken the time to thoroughly review my very lengthy medical file. I find him personable, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to.
The lidocaine IVs and this rude, arrgogant, uncaring doctor was sexists towards myself and my mother EVERY SINGLE APPOINTMENT. I had a seizure in his floor in front of him and the nurse. My mom got it all on video and he looked down, diagnosed the seizure type, said let's reschedule whrn she is better, closed the door and walked out.. all the while im still passed out in my own puke and my dress up exposing my panties. I just can't see this guy any more. I just had a virtual appointment and after hanging up, I just sat there and thought, could he really have been that insulting? He prescribed for me a highly addictive drug, because he sees me as old and not really worth the trouble of avoiding addiction. He refused to consider any other medication, except one I told him I am intolerant of. The remedy he suggested was to make a gratitude list every day and read a book. Awful wouldnt go back to be disrespected and dismissed if i was paid to
Dr. Wunnava and his staff are wonderful. I my initial evaluation Dr. Wunnava was very through and discussed my entire health history. I was referred for a SPG Block and had my first treatment a week ago. It went very well and I looking for to continued treatment.
Dr Wunnava was very welcoming, professional and empathetic. He has a multi-faceted plan to help me with my pain issues and I am looking forward to working with him and his team.
I would recommend him to any chronic pain people.
I am continuing to be a patient of Dr. Wunnava as he is developing his new practice. I have back, hip and shoulder issues that keeps me in constant pain. He takes more interest in treating me than any of the other Doctors I have seen. It is actually very comforting to have a Doctor that will sit down with you, listen to you and develop the best treatment for your condition. His bio will attest to his knowledge and skills. The staff is outstanding, helpful to your needs and so easy to work with.
