Both me and my wife have used Dr. Kelly with great results. I highly recommend him as a surgeon. He's very knowledgeable. He is a little quiet.

Dr Kelly is a excellent Surgeon. I have had 2 surgeries and had very good results. He is polite and answered all my questions. I definitely recommend Dr Michael Kelly.

Dr. Midis explained everything after being diagnosed with colorectal cancer, better than the Vanderbilt doctor I saw first. He tells you like it is always. Had to have 3 surgeries with him in 3 months. He even came in on Sunday to do the last one. He's an excellent, knowledgeable surgeon who I highly recommend.

Dr Kelly is an amazing surgeon who truly care about his patients. I had to have a complicated surgery and several doctors recommended Dr Kelly. They said he was the leading expert in his field. He is highly skilled and has great bedside manner. He explained everything in great detail. I’m very grateful that he helped me.

He almost killed me. He did a fundoplication on me and all was well for 8-9 months and then the fundoplication failed. My stomach herniated into my chest as a result. Ended up going to Atlanta to a thoracic surgeon to fix his mess. Surgeon told me that Dr. Kelly did a bad job on the fundoplication. I have since tried to steer as many people away from this so called surgeon ever since. Beware...

I was referred to Dr midas just after I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer. At a time.when I thought my life would never be the same dr.midas had a plan and followed through. Very down to business but an angel in disguise.

Bedside manner doesn’t matter. You’re interested in the doctor’s performance and surgical skills. He’s s not there to be your friend. Dr Kelly repaired my hiatal hernia 2 weeks ago. All is going well thus far.

I struggled with pain for years and went to several physicians before finally finding Dr. Kelly. Although I didn’t have the absolute diagnostics to confirm my gallbladder issues, he believed me, as the patient. Since my surgery I have had no pain, and all of my previous issues are resolved completely. I’m so thankful and grateful to find a provider who would listen!

Get a second opinion from a different colorectal surgeon to see if the surgery Dr Midis wants to perform is necessary. Another surgeon may well know of a much less invasive procedure. If the second opinion mirrors Dr Midis then go back to him for surgery. I highly recommend Vanderbilt. It’s more than worth the drive to Nashville.
