I wanted my blood checked for different types of anemia five years ago when I was running cross country seriously. I was on a vegetarian diet and felt far more sluggish than usual. She tested my ferritin red blood cell count and other tests like iron and hcb. I could tell in her office that she didn’t believe my nescessity for the test.
