This staff were nice but Dr Quan himself was late, rude, arrogant and not friendly. He made a few inappropriate jokes that he thought were funny but he's definitely not. He has this god like complex and because he has somewhat of a monopoly in town he thinks he's the bees knees. I would rather walk to Charlotte or a bigger city to get procedures done. Just because he went to duke (which he mentioned many times) he thinks he a gift. He would never make it in a big city and therefore works in Columbia.
Have been seeing Dr. Quan for several years since leaving another dermatologist who repeatedly failed to accurately diagnose squamous cell on my face. He spotted it in the first visit and removed it. He's excellent! All of my family members are now seeing him!
I want to give Dr. Quan and his staff an above excellent rating on my previous visit of 6/01/16. I was extremely hesitant about the procedure that I was about to experience. But Dr. Quan and his staff explained the procedure and completely made me feel at ease about the whole experience. They answered all my questions. Dr. Quan and his nurses are the best! He was recommended to me by my dermatologist in Florence after I was diagnosed with basal cell on my nose. I was very anxious about the surgery. He and the nurses put me at ease immediately. His nurse numbed the area with great care and skill. She never hurt me once. Dr Quan had to do a skin graft and now 4 months later, you can barely see it. He just repaired a skin graft on the other side of my nose that another doctor had done. In 1977 I was afflicted with a severe fungal infection. For 30 years I had been treated with various prescription and non prescription medications resulting in a seemingly permanent very uncomfortable skin condition adversely affecting my performance of daily activities. Over the last few years, Dr Quan has surgically removed several skin cancers from my facial area. In each instance, the results have been exactly what one would hope for. I thoroughly enjoy his dry sense of humor. He is the only doctor I recall routinely calling me at night following my visit to see how I am doing. I have been going to Dr Quan for several years. He is efficient, personal and always adds a touch of humor. The office is well organized with a very pleasant and caring staff. Dr. Quan, and his staff, are head and shoulders above my previous dermatologist. I actually look forward to my appointments.
