To be honest, the first time I was seen by Dr. Chung, I was not happy. She was cold and not very helpful. That being said, I saw her again for my myomectomy consultation. She was very thorough. She went through all my options. After several follow-ups, she was more relaxed. Maybe she was having a bad day the first time. I had an amazing recovery with very little pain. My mother (late 70’s) is blessed to have Dr. Chung as her doctor who is truly an expert in her field. I brought my mother in to have outpatient surgery by Dr. Chung during which she performed multiple procedures. Dr. Chung called me immediately following the surgery to explain everything she performed, and what she observed during the surgery. Dr. Chung seems like a competent doctor, but she has really terrible bedside manner. Both times I’ve gone to see her she’s barely said hello, she doesn’t explain things (I had a procedure done in her office, which was so painful. And she didn’t explain the procedure along the way—I had to keep asking her questions). I just felt like a number to her. And both times she never washed her hands upon entering or leaving the room, or before examine me— I was appalled.
