First visit for knee replacement. Dr Kaplan was very thorough and answered all my questions. I feel very comfortable and positive with him to be my surgeon going forward.
Dr Lige Kaplan is a very gifted surgeon.. I just had a total replacement of my right hip. I walked out of the hospital 7 hours post surgery. I went back to work 11 days post op. I feel great.No restrictions except jogging.
Dr. Kaplan is very professional, yet kind and easy to talk with. He did my 1st hip in 2017. I was so pleased I had him do the other one a year and a half later. I had moved 4 hours away yet came to him as I was so pleased with the outcome!

Saw Dr. Kaplan for opinion on revision surgery for right hip, which has been painful since it was performed in 2011. After looking at Xray, he stated "nothing was wrong with the implant" and went on to say that when you bake 20 cakes, you can expect one to not turn out. In other words, just live with the pain. Spent perhaps 5 minutes speaking with me. He was abrupt to the point of being rude. I will look further for a compassionate, knowledgable surgeon. Don't waste your time with this one
Dr. Kaplan performed "revision" surgery, which replaced my 10-year old artificial knee (from another surgeon) which had loosened from years of tennis. I was referred to Dr. Kaplan by another Orthopedic surgeon who initially discovered the looseness in my knee. That surgeon stated that a surgeon with Dr. Kaplan's expertise was required. The surgery went perfect, the recovery went well, and the follow-up appointments went well. I strongly recommend Dr. Kaplan.
Dr. Kaplan is the doctor who operated on me replacing my hip. Very successful surgery. I was walking normally without help of cane or anything after 3 weeks and started driving and went to work after 5 weeks. I highly recommend him, he listens to your questions and worries. thank you dr. Kaplan

Dr Kaplan replaced right hip joint using Direct Superior Approach. Dr Kaplan was kind, knowledgeable and did an execllent job. Minimal pain and speedy healing at 2 weeks post op. I will recommend Dr Kaplan. I am a registered nurse and am giving Dr Kaplan 5 star reviews!!!
