I have been going to Dr. Jacinto for years. She is very knowledgeable and informative. We have had excellent communication. If something might work better for you, she is on it. I highly recommend her. I have had in office and tele-health visits.
Dr. Jacinto’s office is easy to schedule with and helpful to patients. Dr. Jacinto makes it very clear when she is annoyed with patients, repeatedly interrupts and becomes overalls belittling in order to end the appointment. She is knowledgeable but this is not the medical profession for someone who is not open to hearing their patients concerns and worries.
I give her one star. I brought my son to her for 4 years. I happen to have sole decision making through the courts for good reason and when their dad appeared causing drama she promptly dropped my son from her practice without even honoring the court order. Very cold hearted doctor. Just worried about herself.
I had exactly the same experience as the other 1 star reviews. She didn't take my daughters concerns about harmful thoughts seriously (while on medication she prescribed). I called several times and she didn't return my calls until my next appointment was coming up then was dismissive when I asked why she took two weeks to call me back. I do not want to risk my daughters mental health in this way.
Dr. Jacinto is very knowledgeable, but seems to blame a lot of my daughters issues on "normal teenage hormones" and it is frustrating to no end. There are no other options for another physician less than 50 miles from my home that my insurance will cover, so we are kind of stuck, but my daughter has asked multiple times for a new doctor. She is nice, but seems like she doesn't really listen.
She does not listen to patient. She has her game plan and goes with that without listening to any contribution. I am an educated professional who has been dealing with her psychiatric depression for her whole-life and an open dialog about medications and treatment would-be appreciated. She specializes in adolescent care, I could never imagine sending one of my children to her and having them actually trust and open up to her. She is rude and condescending. I am currently transferring care.
I am giving her no stars. She does not thoroughly listen nor takes suicidal patients seriously. She is very opinionated and does not look any deeper past the diagnosis. She shows no sympathy or care. It takes her 5 minutes to prescribe a possible life threatening medication which is very unprofessional and could put someone's life in harm because she does not remember past medications she has given or that should not be prescribed to certain mental disorders.
We have been with Dr. Jacinto for 7 years. She has been very helpful suggesting appropriate medications and providing medication reviews. Dr. Jacinto is a very nice and open person. She always returns calls in a timely manner. Her schedule is typically a bit tight, but if you schedule ahead of time it is not an issue. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking medication management.
Dr. Jacinto is all about her patients care. I would highly recommend her to anyone needing psychiatric adolescent care. I am a retired school counselor.
