Dr Capin has a well run office. I rarely wait more than 5 minutes after I check in. The medical assistants are friendly and professional. Dr Capin takes the time to connect with me on a personal level and make me feel at ease . She answers all my questions and lets me make decisions based on her assessment. Last year she found a skin cancer that I didn’t even know I had. She gave me the options and let me chose how to proceed. I send all my family and friends to her. I did not see Dr. Capin I came in for inflammation after a removal of tissue y Dr Backus and to have my stitches out because they did not desolve So the survey is for the wrong person.
The issue is this practice is owned by a large Florida corporation. Customer respect leaves a lot to be desired. In short, they just don't care. Schedulers would not call me back or clarify appointment times. Calls for appointment confirmation are made to you when the offices are closed (they operate on Eastern time). I attempted three clarification calls and an email. When I finally got a response, I was told that 7 am was the correct time. I drove to their Meridian offices, got there on time only to be told the appointment... read more
The visit was rushed, no explanation given of the diagnosis, no test/culture of the skin infection to confirm- completely inadequate medical care. Dr. Capin is nice enough but the lack of medical care under her care was appalling. I'm looking into legal remedies. I would not recommend anyone visit her after my experience.
My dermatology appt was at 7:50AM in Aurora - 2 texts and 2 emails for proof. I arrived at the office at 7:46. I waited patiently for the receptionist to help the lady in front of me. I got up to the desk at 7:50. The receptionist said let me ask the provider if she will still see you, you were supposed to be here 15 mins early to fill out the new patient paperwork. Mind you I was not 15 minutes early, but I was early to my appointment at 7:46 upon which I waited for the person in front of me to be helped and I heard the rec... read more
