I was sent to see Dr. Cruz after going to a pain clinic. Dr. Kathryn Schott was great at the pain clinic, but suspected I was still a good surgical candidate. I had a new MRI done and in my first visit Dr. Cruz could see that I needed another surgery to get rid of the horrible sciatica that I had been living with for 6 1/2 years. My first ortho doctors told me the herniated disc I suffered in fall of 2020 would "Heal" on it's own.....come to find out that is a lie and herniated discs do not heal....ever. Doctor Rodriguez-Cruz not only fixed my neck problems. my bone spur was on my spinal cord. His surgery stoped my back of head migraines. The surgery has helped my mobility with my left arm. In the process my problems with my right arm were not connected to my neck problems. He was open and upfront with me on this. He explained the process of my surgery and what he could do or not do.
