If you are looking for a foot Doctor, you have found an excellent one. Dr. Sum is very thorough, caring and courteous. She takes time with you, explains to you in detail and make sure you understand.
Dr. Lauren Sum is a really great podiatrist. She fixed my middle toe from growing over my big toe ( Hammertoe). My shoes are much more comfortable now that is flat as it should be. All during the procedure she keeps you informed as to what she is doing and the results to expect. She is a warm and caring doctor that makes you comfortable and well taken care of .

Dr. Sum treats my husband & me on a regular basis. She trims our toe nails & removes a deep-seated callus on husband’s foot, preventing him walking on occasion. She is gentle, caring, thorough & very professional. Due to our advanced ages & the condition of my husband, Dr. Sum actually offered to make a house call to care for his feet. This goes beyond the call of duty, but shows how really spectacular she is. I would recommend her services to anyone looking for a good foot doctor.
I’ve had Type I diabetes for 32 years, and foot health is extremely important with this condition. When I noticed a painful area on my foot I panicked. Dr. Sum identified it as a plantar wart and treated me over a course of 2 months. She was professional, efficient, and very attentive with my care - so much so that my husband (deadly afraid of foot doctors) started seeing her for his 20yr toenail issue. I’m all healed up now. Thanks Dr. Sum!
I had a growth on my foot that had to be surgerly removed Dr Sum did an excellent job. It was an in office procedure. Follow up appointments where excellent she explained everything clearly.
I have been a patient of Dr. Sum for at least 7 years and have found her to be quite the professional who knows how to take care of your feet. If she thinks you have a problem beyond her abilities, she will send you to another professional to take care of you. She has seen me through many problems with my feet and recognized that I needed another professional to check my leg veins out. She saved my left foot. I recommend her to all my friends and associates. She's the best!
Dr. Sum is very professional and the ease of scheduling an appointment was no stress. I would highly recommend her services.
Just left the Pearland location. When I made the appointment I specifically asked if the doctor did bunion removals and the lady over the phone stated "yes", I made the appointment and today when I go in Dr. Sum offered orthopedic shoes and a gel pad to put on my bunion to keep it from rubbing, and referred me to a different doctor. All I did was waste my time and pay a copay and since I payed with my bank card I was charged 4% extra. She's a prescription writer and shoe salesman.
