A whole new approach to dentistry for me. Not just x-rays, pick at my gums and tell me which teeth need work. This dentist really did an oral exam, checking for lumps/ nodules in mouth and neck. X-rays were taken and pics of my teeth and me!! I was shown these. I could actually see what they did. It wasn't a big mystery. We discussed options and cost. The staff is very friendly and professional.
Dr Mac and Assistant were the most organized and efficient team one could hope for. The X-ray and pictures were waiting on the Dr when she walked into the room and after taking a look at my problem Dr Mac offered two possible solutions. I made my choice and the team jumped into action and in what seemed like just a few minutes I was done and enjoying some pleasant conversation with The Team! Overall it was a great experience.
My dad is 91 and up to a few years ago, he didn't brush his teeth. I got him into this office based on my neighbor's recommendation and now my dad is brushing his teeth every day and his oral health is back on track. The staff is so kind to us, we will never change.
Went for my 1/4-ly cleaning. Had a little issue with food getting caught in back area. Dentist looked and found the problem. Tooth shifted. Thought I would need expensive crown. He suggested building up tooth to close gap. Rational was since it’s all the way in the back and never seen why spend the money on a crown? I was very pleased! Getting the work done in two weeks. Dentists name is Dr. South from Ocean Isle helping out Dr. Hemby.
As always I was treated like family. Wendy did a fabulous job cleaning my teeth. My next visit will be a crown.
Had root canal. Done very well. Absolutely no pain afterwards
