I was referred to Dr Lan Nguyen by Scripps Mercy Hospital after a visit to their ER for multiple fractures on my tibia and fibula. She requested a clearance letter from an outside clinic. After I found a Clinic that did the tests Dr. Lan Nguyen requested I was able to set up a surgery date for a month after my accident and visit to the ER. On surgery day at Scripps Mercy Hospital. Avoid going here if you can. Dr. will barely give you 5 mins of her time, if that. She doesn’t stay around to ask or answer questions, which can be very distressing if it’s your first time breaking a bone. More than that, she doesn’t do her due diligence, she cleared me to get out of the boot and start walking again just for another doctor to later tell me that I still have a fracture so here I am 5 months later restarting my healing from scratch when this could’ve been avoidable if she actually did her job, just negligent. ... read more
No one answers the phone. You have to leave a message with an after hours answering service. ( even when you call during office hours) But they don't call you back. Really can't say if the Doctor is any good or not, but if they can't be bothered to answer the phone then I think not.
She's very awesome and gives her patients the respect and support they need to get well
Dr. Consulted with me for about 5 minutes and handed me over to her staff. I had a fractured humerus. I was and still am in pain. Would not prescribe any pain meds. Suggested Motrin. I now am taking 6 thousand mils. A day to function. Dr. Should be more involved. David Block
