After my Ortho doctor moving out of Houston, she had referred me to Dr. Dickson before she left. I finally got the opportunity to make an appointment and am so happy that I did. Dr. Dickson explained exactly what was going on and didn't cut any corners giving me the why and what for. He left the options up to me and didn't try to sell me anything like a used car salesmen. If you are looking for one of the very few left "ol' school Docs, you will definitely find that in Dr. Dickson!
We are very happy we found Dr Dickson. He spends time and answers all questions.
Very straightforward, explains things well, makes a plan, very nice manners, always a joy to see him. Wait times can be a little long ,but he is a popular man, all of his office staff is great, caring, kind, ways a pleasure to speak with them, they all are a great group.
He spent over 40 minutes with me, reviewing my scans, then coming to get my story and returning to review the scans again. I’ve been in the medical field 30+ years and it was wonderful to know there are still doctors that analyze and not just rely on an X-ray or scan. This was my first visit and yes, I will be driving 4 hours to see him again. He also set up a zoom meeting to discuss how I am progressing! WOW!! After a failed surgery, I was handicapped. I can not explain how grateful I am to Dr. Dickson for giving me perfection when he put me back together. He is indeed a brilliant surgeon in a league all of his own. If you saw me walk you would never know anything negative ever happen to me. Sometimes there is a wait because he is a trauma surgeon. I just had my first visit with Dr. Dickson. He was personable and straightforward when assessing my Orthopedic issues. I love his sense of humor,. He was thorough in explaining the conditions that I have, and his recommended treatments. I didn’t feel rushed, and all my questions were answered. Dr. Dickson is very professional and has a great bedside manner! He is friendly and out going. I haven’t had no issues with either knee replacement and highly recommend him to everyone looking for a great orthopedic doctor! He will answer your questions by down the earth answers.
Had great visit, desk staff, nurse staff, all staff very friendly and courteious, Dr Dickson as always very thorough and answers all questions and he always has a plan for patient, he is my favorite doctor, he is a awesome surgeon, highly recommend him.
