Getting an appointment takes weeks and has gotten worse since he started his concierge program (which you must pay for monthly to be a priority). The office staff rarely answers the phone or returns calls. They refuse to send in any prescriptions to your pharmacy, you have to pick up everything l in person. I was told because it takes too much time.
Dr Guidry is an excellent family doctor. He gives you his undivided attention during your appointment. He answers every question you have and treats you like you are his only patient even when his waiting room is full.
I've been with Dr. Guidry since he opened his practice. Starting as a young man and now in my 50's. He has helped me through various illnesses that he diagnosed the first time and I believe always had my best interest at heart as well as medically would only prescribe what he thought was necessary to cure the sickness. Amanda, Dawn, and the staff have been wonderful as well and I would recommend him to anyone seeking a family Dr.
I can't believe that a patient that is fixing to have back surgery would be denied her pain medication!!! He knows my health history and is not concerned at all!!!! Would NEVER recommend this doctor, especially if your in pain...

Dr Guidry is a wonderful doctor. The only problem is trying to get an appointment. The office help never answers the phone, you get directed to a voice mail and never get a return call. If you are lucky to get someone in person they usually ask if you can hold and then you stay on hold until you finally hang up in frustration. But...once you do get into the office---Dr Guidry is the best.
Great doctor, wonderful personality, spends time with you but his office front desk staff stinks. She never returns your phone calls nor answers the phone. Waited for someone to answer for 10 minutes when I gave up.
