I have been seeing Dr.Kooistra for a little over 20 years and have no problem with her she is the best.
Dr Kooistra listened to my explanation and studied the records from previous physicians. She ordered some additional tests and promptly set up sessions for my infusions. I was grateful for her help and encouraged by follow up treatments she suggested.
I have been a patient of Dr. Kooistra for several years. My comments: My last visit I waited in the waiting room for one hour and then hour and a half in the nurse's 'waiting room.' Don't like that. But, the likely reason is that, unlike some of the Drs I have had, her focus is is on the patient, NOT the insurance company. Her session with me lasted about 30 minutes which was adequate and appreciated. This may explain why it takes so long for her to get to a patient.
Very impersonal and uncaring
Waited 3 hours to see the doctor. I understand that specialists are busy but there is no excuse for this type of poor scheduling. At a minimum, the office staff should call patients and let them know if they’re running that far behind. This office does not value patients time or health. Would give zero stars if I could. My worst healthcare experience EVER.
I just know she took her time and listened more than other doctors do and that’s appreciated !!
I have had two appointments with her. Waited over an hour, for each appointment. She seemed as though she could care less. Bad bedside manner.
Poor and ridiculous treatment.. very nonchalant and unconcerned
