Dr. Did accept my dad as a new patient, gave us very basic information on Alzheimers, did a short physical test and said dad has Alzheimer’s. I wasn’t surprised. However we were told there would be a blood draw order sent to me via the snail mail, not sure why we could not take that order with us or have it sent to quest — still do not have that order. also told their research group would call for a phone screening for possible inclusion in trials for Donemab, no one ever called. I do not think he really wanted dad as a pati... read more

His care has been lackluster for a while . He had me on a drug that you shouldn’t take if you have had a stroke and I have had one. Dangerous to say the least. He lied about my mri results saying that the results were due to something that they weren’t. He doesn’t listen to my concerns. I’m happily switching to another neurologist in the same practice.

I went to see Dr. Ivaturi for sudden onset of migraines and vertigo. He spent all of five minutes with me, did not do a proper history( I am a retired PA), and said they could be related, but probably not. Also said virtigoo is hard to treat and told me to drink more water, He basically blew me off.

Initially I liked Dr Ivaturi; however, the prescription insurance provider would not pay for one of my son's meds. I made repeated calls to Dr Ivaturi's office to get a med that the insurance would cover. No response. My son ran out of this particular med and had a seizure as a result. Will be looking for a new doc. Apparently these poor reviews have not made this office make changes.

I have had an excellent experience with Dr Ivaturi for Essential Tremor. He has taken the time to address my issues, worked to help find appropriate treatment, and answer questions. I have discovered that calling his office directly gets better response than calling the JWM phone number. I give 4 stars not for Ivaturi but for the way JWM runs it’s phone contact.

I saw Dr. Ivaturi for a neck problem I have had for some time. He was very pleasant and explained a treatment plan with me. He took his time and was very thorough. I would highly recommend this doctor.

My husband was admitted through the ER with a stroke & admitted to the hospital. Because of COVID & the visiting hour restrictions, I could only be at the hospital visiting from 8-10 a.m. & 6-8 p.m. He made rounds always in the afternoon when I was not allowed to be there. Repeated requests to Dr. Ivaturi to call me and let me know the results of the tests & my husband's condition fell on deaf ears. He never called during the hospital stay or upon discharge. He simply talked to my husband, who has periods of amnesia and coul... read more

I'm a little concerned because my husband was seen in the ED and was told he needed to follow up with Dr. Ivaturi's office asap and I have called now twice, and been on hold for over 20 minutes each time. I left a message after the first call but didn't get a call back.

I had a horrendous experience with Dr. Ivaturi. He spent a total of 2 minutes with me discussing my symptoms and only seconds into our conversation begins questioning my mental health. Grossly negligent in my opinion, especially since my symptoms were found to be of another cause. Keep it professional, doc. You do not have all the answers and know a person's life history based on a few minutes of your time. He needs to slow down and consider the implications of his actions.
