Love my therapist. My psychiatrist who prescribes my meds is just okay. most psychs aren’t very nice so can’t hold that over him (and it’s not worth going through the process of finding another one). Getting my medication is a nightmare, they never return calls when they say they will, never update the patient portal and they don’t handle things well when I need a prior authorization for medications. Began using this company's services about 4 months ago and it has been a struggle almost every step. I'll start with the worst thing first: contacting these people is a herculean task. Nobody ever seems to man the telephones, whether it's the front office, medication dept or billing dept. I called as early as 1540 and was told the billing department already left for the day and to leave a voice-mail (this message kept repeating and never let me leave a voice-mail). I have been going here for a little over a year. My therapist is wonderful, absolutely love her. The support staff is horrible, you never receive a call back, I am having a billing issue because the new doctor for my medications they placed me with apparently is not in network on my insurance. When I spoke to the staff member who made this appointment originally I specifically asked is this doctor in network for my insurance, she said absolutely I would not have any problems. Overall experiences with the therapists and prescribers themselves has been decent, but the turnover is difficult to keep up with. I've been using this practice for a couple years and they've switched my prescriber four times because of people leaving the practice. I did initially also see a therapist here but declined to continue when she also left the practice. I'm not sure what makes this a negative work environment for the employees, but there seems to be an issue. Since the recent-ish transition to Lifestance health, it... read more
