I broke my leg when I was 6 months pregnant after getting my leg caught in between my 3 Neapolitan Mastiffs. My body turned while my leg was stuck and I broke my tibia in 4 spots I believe it was called a spiral fracture. I had to have surgery and get a rod and screws. Dr. Polyonek did very good work! It’s been about 7 years since and the rod definitely causes pain but I’m assuming I probably have osteoporosis setting in at my ankle and knee. She definitely did a great job though.
