Had a 6 month check up and PSA. Saw Dr. Rier for the first time. He answer all my questions and covered my needs.
Performed a Cysto. Kept me informed as the priocedure progressed. Also told me what he had found and what was next. I recommend him to anyone that needs treatment or tests concerning Urology.
My appointment was on time. All staff were pleasant. The doctor explained everything to my satisfaction and was very pleasant. Thanks to all for a good experience.
This day was a follow-up from having a tumor removed from inside my bladder. Over a year and a half ago I had the same procedure. The tumor that was removed was cancerous. But this most recent tumor was NOT cancer. What a relief! However I did need to have a stent, which was very uncomfortable. When it was removed, my back pain went away. Now I can happily go for another 6 months before I have to have another Cystourethroscopy. I was very satisfied with the procedure and how the professional staff preformed. While I know I will need to wait for some weeks for the outcome, I do know that I will be improved medically. As a former administrator in long term care, I wish others would consider this procedure to give them a better quality of life. I would be happy to give my reccomendation to others facing a quality of life issue as I did.
I was very pleased with the fast checkin. When I got to the office my way was just a few minutes and the entire staff was very helpful.
I had an enlarged prostate that I thought could be cancerous, per an x-ray. He just blew it off and thought that I had prostatitis. He gave me medicine but not enough to last until the next appt. He didn't think that a biopsy was necessary but I pushed for one. When the results came back, he acted like he knew it wouldn't be prostate cancer.
