My teenage sister went in for a cleaning and the staff tried to sell her cosmetic surgery. My folks eventually grew distrustful of our family dentist here after getting second opinions from our original (less flashy) provider over in Richfield. It's money first here, patient best-interest second. I wonder how much work we had done here that could have at least been deferred.

For 15 years I have chosen to trust Dr Molldrem, even though there were frustrating incidents that have happened over the years, I still went to Eden Prairie office. Recent frustrating example- Like when I went in with tooth PAIN-2022. He gave me a new crown, instead of referring me to an Endodontist to determine if I had an infection, abscess, crack in tooth, needed a root canal, etc. When I complained later that the pain was still there, the hygenist gave me a referral to an out- of -network Endodontist they use. I have been to several dentists over the past two years to get implants. Prior to visiting Dr.Molldrem’s office I was very nervous about getting implants and was confused about the process. Other dentists I’ve seen made it seem like getting multiple implants to replace my retainer with fake teeth was a very difficult procedure. I told this to Dr. Molldrem and the hygienist and they both were more than happy to do the implants for me! Dr. Molldrem and his team took care of my 9 year old son. He had some cavities taken care of that were shown to me on a camera. Really cool to see the evidence first hand.

Oversell oversell oversell. He trains his employees to sell dentistry. He’s in trouble with Delta Dental for the 3rd tome for prescribing work that was not needed.
