My experience with Dr. Petersen and his staff was 100% positive. Dr. Petersen is one of the best doctors I’ve come across in 50 yrs. He’s an honest, straight shooter. I wish he was a family doctor as well. He repaired an inguinal hernia for me. I’m very active with cycling/hiking/walking. I didn’t want any mesh/foreign substances in my body and all the complications/stress that could arise with mesh. The best decision I could have made, and it was a BIG decision. Stay home in North Idaho and go with mesh or go to Las Vegas and go non-mesh? I had been watching Dr. Petersen and the Vegas option for over two years. Should I? Should I not? All of our questions were answered. No rush. World's Greatest Surgeon!!! I live in Maine. I traveled all the way to Las Vegas, Nevada to have my hernia mesh removed by Dr. Kevin Peterson of "no insurance surgery." The whole experience was exceptional. Above and beyond in all areas. Very professional staff. It was well worth the cost to me. Seemed very, very reasonable for all he did. Dr. Petersen did my surgery about a year ago (5/9/2018). I'm still VERY happy I made the trip to Vegas to have the hernia repaired. Post surgery I was unsure how much pain I would be in. I only took 1 or 2 of the pain pills prescribed. After that, Advil was all I needed. I still feel a little something in that region from time to time but I attribute that to me trying to get back into shape on the bicycle and pushing it too hard. On Nov 1 2016 I had a hernia repaired with mesh . I was in pain until I had it removed by dr. Petersen March6 2019 it was great relief to have done. I feel great dr. Petersen and his were great I would recommend them to anyone with mesh issues following his recovery plan very important I did it so anybody can thanks dr.Petersen and crew

Inguinal surgery repair was performed at a high standard of excellence! All questions were carefully answered, recovery has been faster than expected! Pain meds necessary only 2 days! There is no need for mesh when you have a surgeon who specializes in non-mesh repair. The staff were amazing and so helpful! Coming from out of state- they make everything simple and as easy on their patients as possible. Surgical staff were equally amazing. Bless you Dr Peterson, Kari and Carlos!

My non-mesh inguinal hernia repair was 1 year ago. The surgery was fine, the recovery was easy. Started to be more active after 2 months, hiked a 14k foot peak 6 months later. Weight training 4 times a week for the past 5 months. I've lost 30 pounds and gained 15 pounds of muscle. My body feels great!
