In my opinion and experience after contacting 7 people most of us are in serious and worse condition or have reherniated or was given a hernia for the first time after mesh removal and hernia repairs. It was not only difficult to deal with No Insurance Surgery but they put our lives in danger and damaged the well being of some of us. There is no aftercare here and the Valley View Surgery center is like a 3rd world VA facility with an unsanitary environment and a cattle call of a waiting room.

Im my personal opinion and experience Dr Peterson took our money with out performing the surgery. My husband could not have the surgery so he canceled it and then he kept the cash money and said we would have a credit for us later like it was some department store or a walmart. We begged him because we needed it back and he finally sent a check then it bounced!..This is not acceptable.

We were referred to Dr. Petersen by a trusted physician we have known for years. Unlike other doctors we have spoken to his care was clear on the initial consultation phone call. He did not push for surgery but actually gave us suggestions for alternate routes we should explore first and if we were not satisfied we could come to see him. He even gave us places to go and a prescription for an ultra sound to get a second opinion. He told us if we decided to do surgery locally what to look for.
