My expierience with Dr Korcek was ok. It wasn’t one of the better ones I’ve had, but not the worse either. He seemed in a huge rush on my first visit (which I was super anxious about because I’ve never had to go under the knife). He didn’t take the time to explain anything to me besides what I specifically asked for. I just felt like he could have taken more time with me and made sure I was comfortable and that he should have used a better bedside manner. He was talking a mile a minute and it was clear he was in a hurry!
I was referred to Dr Korcek for nerve damage in my right arm and hand after surgery for a fix humerus. I have been very pleased with his services, he offered different options of tx and did not pressure me on my decision. I have also seen drs pa Joe and received excellent care. I would definitely recommend Dr and Joe both to anyone.
Dr Korcek explain what was going on on my nerve release and we're going to do another nerve test and just keep working on it
Before surgery I had one bad finger. After surgery the finger still doesn't function and I loss half the motion and use of my other three. Now he wants to do another surgery to clean up the mess. I don't think I'll take the risk of more damage being done.
Patient of Dr.korcek for about a year.my last visit in December didn't go well. Dr. Korcek was very patient with me, answering every question I could ask, and I never felt rushed. He took a lot of time to go over each X-ray with me, pointing out all the problem areas, explaining how each area was designed to work, and why things were not working now. I received very thorough instructions on how to use my splints and braces. This was my first experience at OrthoIllinois, and a very positive one.
My Pinky finger was quite mangled.. I put a lil faith in dr. Korcek, and he restored my finger to working form! Great Surgeon!
Awesome guy. First time seeing Mr. Korcek. He took the time to answer my questions on a personal level. His staff were excellent also.
I had trigger finger surgery with Dr. Korcek in 2013. I experienced continued pain and the feeling that something was wrong immediately after surgery-kept gong back to him and was sent to physical therapy twice, and he prescribed topical creams that did nothing $$! Finally sought treatment at RUSH Orthopedic in Oak Park; the surgeon there removed "slime" and a pseudomembrane--I'm feeling better now, but suffered needlessly for years after my surgery with Dr. Korcek.
