Dr. Perkel is one of those rare gems of a therapist you find and never want to let go. Each visit feels like light catching a different facet of that gem, revealing new insights, new patterns, and new ways to cope. The value of that is truly immeasurable. She brings a calming, grounding energy to every session, meeting you with unwavering support and absolutely no judgment. She somehow always knows what you need from that visit, whether it is space to vent, thoughtful guidance, or encouragement to grow, and she creates that ... read more

Certainly the best therapist I've ever seen. She's kind, empathetic, helpful, and clearly well educated. She offers unconditional positive regard while also pushing her clients to be the best they can be.

I recently moved out of state and was absolutely terrified to leave. She guided me through those fears and reinforced my tool set so I can continue my work towards a heal... read more

I have been a client for almost 2 years and found a warm and supportive space for learning to manage longstanding anxieties arising in childhood. The client must heal him or herself, with the therapist as guide and witness. This means work and honest self-reflection in and outside of sessions. It also means patience with the process and willingness to admit to and overcome resistance. I have found Dr. Perkel to be creative, flexible, and inspired in sessions and to pose apt questions that lead me deeper within for new angles... read more
