Very happy she has retired. Worst communicator I’ve seen with children in this specialty. Notice she needed colleagues to artificially inflate her score here.
Dr. Perez-Tselikis aka Dr. Perez or Dr. Jackie Perez has been my children's pediatrician since their birth. After my son turned a year old, she had him checked through a simple blood test for Fragile X Syndrome (long story), in which he was diagnosed after results coming back positive! Currently saw Dr Perez to help with my son’s illness and she seems to be irritated that we came to her office for consultation. Definitely the health care system is lacking of good professionals in the estate.
She saw us at the maternity ward. She was half cocked, rude, interrupted, inattentive and uncaring. She suggested that we should follow with a pediatrician who better not be her. She recommended for us to go to the far away pediatrics location even though she said she was working at the closer location the next day and had appointments available. We saw her the next day and she was just as rude and short with us. We couldn't be happier with our new pediatrician who is her colleague.
I will never forget Dr. Downey. When my son was having developmental delays he immediately recognized there was an issue and got us on the path to get him early intervention. I believe that support changed the outcome of my son’s life - he fits right in with his peers and is thriving.
She doesn't show any care or concern for her patients. When I told her about my toddler struggling with sleep issues she acted like he was the first kid that doesn't want to sleep. Then when I mentioned concerns about behavior she took a week for a referral and didn't even call to discuss it. She looks at your kid for minute then the rest of the appointment, her back is turned while she types.
Dr. Downey was recommended by my OB as well as friends. He took care of my kids from the time they were released from NICU. He has been one if the best doctors I've had the privilege of knowing here in Vegas. When my daughter had open heart surgery and was very critical he kept in touch with personal communication after hours and visited her in hospital which made her day. He is amazing with my sin who is now 15. He is so dedicated to his patients.
Authorized prescription pills for Anxiety / Depression to my 15-year-old daughter without even seeing her. Pills were originally prescribed by another doctor. Burford pushes pills onto her patients even if it is not for their own well-being. No ethics. Not a doctor to take your children to. She's amazing if you are a drug seeker! Highly recommended to get your fix.
