I had the same bad experience. I wasn't prepared for it. I left worse than when I came. She doesn't try to explain things. She blames the patient for a ton. She isn't even remotely empathetic or compassionate. She is mean and degrading. She doesn't fit in with the usual U of U standard of care. If I could give a 0 stars rating then I would. Dr. Bonebrake is terrible. She never listens to the patient and is very passive aggressive. She is emotionally abusive and made my mental health worse than before I was admitted into UNI. Bonebrake has zero empathy and does not validate her patient’s concerns. She is not willing to work with family members and prioritizes her personal issues over the patient’s care.
