I had 2 upper crowns done in spring this year, 2021. It was written on paper that the price would be good for 60 days. When i went in for the 2nd crown 40 days later, i was told that porcelain crowns “increased in price just this past week” and will cost an extra $119.00 . Which i paid before sitting in the dental chair. She also wanted to be paid in full before the procedure, instead of after. Went to Dr. Abate for a few years. Never had any issues, always had healthy teeth and I didn't need any work done. Went in and the hygienist said everything looked great. Dr. Abate came and evaluated me for about 30 seconds and said I had 3 cavities. I went ahead and had those filled. I had to have 2 bridges redone because they were not set right, and recently had a root canal done wrong. She refused to refund my money, so now I am hiring a lawyer. Please look up reviews of any dentist or provider you go to first!
