The RN - inexperienced, mistakes happen - gave me a tetanus shot too close to my shoulder, resulting in bursitis that required physical therapy and orthopedic help. Although the office admitted their mistake, and the orthopedic concurred with the diagnosis, they refused to waive the bills for the 2 follow-up apts that they asked me to come to address their mistake, and treated me like I was the villain. I still have shoulder limitations. Where is common decency and compassion? Not here.
Dr Kate is a practitioner like no other! She's changing my life. I've been going to this place for a year now and it's really made a remarkable difference in my life. Everyone who works in the building is incredible and compassionate. They really do get it. They take their time with you and NEVER rush. I drive a long way to go there but it's worth it! I've had six doctors in my life and Dr. Kate is the most caring, innovative, and effective of them all. She understands that sometimes meds aren't the best answer and uses her integrated practice to find the underlying causes of pain. She seeks and applies innovative technology solutions too. Her accessibiltiy is unusual and so imporant in this day. I am grateful that Kate Atkinson is my doctor and recommend her all the time.

This physician should not be practicing medicine. She is totally ineffective and insensitive to patients' needs.Her manner is unprofessional and demeaning, Totally disregarding patient complaints. Her staff tends to gossip unprofessionally...she along with them.Do yourself a favor, and find another physician!
Kate Atkinson is characteristically friendly and personal with patients, something that leads her to marginally inappropriate behavior. I've been her patient more than a decade, so I have experienced many occasions of lack of propriety. After yearly physical exams and at other times ( I am male) she has hugged me without invitation. She has freely spoken to my relatives about my medical affairs as well as spoke to me about theirs, casually commenting on their behavior or life styles.

Been going there since I was a teenager. They are most helpful and they do genuinely care about their patients there. They have a wide variety of staff with all different knowledge.
after opening her own private practice kate seemed to lose her love for being a doctor. i often felt after her practice was open that i was only just a number, not a person.
