Longstanding patient of Dr. Kate/Kate (yes, that is what you can expect to call her vs. Dr. Atkinson). The reviews are mixed here and at other sites for good reason: she is polarizing because, over time, she changes in her relationship with you. She expects her "love you," concluding each visit which is more talk therapy than exam to be sufficient reason to not want more from her support staff. The singularly most destructive person i have ever met. Her practicing medicine is a joke.
Dr. Kate is both my infant daughter’s and my own doctor. She is very professional and KNOWS HER STUFF! When we first brought my daughter home from the hospital, her first visit from Dr. Kate was a house call! That kind of personalized care means so much, especially nowadays!

The Doctors at Atkinson Family Practice aretop notch! They have built a medical home and family for their patients. This is a coordinated family practice that usually goes above and beyond. Dr. Kate Atkinson herself, is a genius and someone I greatly admire. She has carried me under her wing for 20+ years and I feel super lucky to have a strong role model, practitioner and friend rolled into one amazing person!
We recently switched to Atkinson family practice and could not be happier. Dr Kate and the rest of the staff all follow a whole person proactive approach to medicine which is a pleasant departure from the typical reactivate med throwing approach we usually see in modern medicine.
We have been with Dr Kate for close to 20 years. We are so thankful for her professional and compassionate care of us. She is on top of new advancements in medicine and the practice offfers many supportive care options on site. We have had an exceptional experience.
I am grateful to have found this practice. All of the providers there have been wonderful. They listen, treat you with dignity and respect, and most importantly, they believe you. In my experience, this is not true of all medical providers. I would highly recommend Atkinson Family Practice to anyone.
