Dr katabay,Is a amazing doctor I am so lucky to have found him. He has got me through a lot .I know he might get discouraged sometimes because not everything he has tried has helped me ,but he hasn't giving up on me And he still try to find other options to help me.that is why I love him.i drive two hours to see him ,it doesn't matter how many hours I drive to see him .he is worth the drive.
Great doctor, he listens and understand chronic pain. He is not afraid to treat you, offer options and come up with a plan. Very happy to have found him and his staff.
I really would like to reply to some of the comments on here that are negative but since I’m not the DR I can’t. However, anyone who says this man doesn’t care about his patients is full of it! I have never in my life met a Dr. like Katabay! I have been seeing him for almost 10 years! He’s the only Dr who actually listened to me on my very first appt. I’ve been going here for a couple years & I wish I could find a new Pain Mgmt. Dr. I never see him & the PA’s & NP’s that do the appointments don’t listen to or care what you say. It’s a drill mill with very little compassion. No Doctor / Patient relationship at all. After all this time, he wouldn’t recognize me if we saw each other at a restaurant. My pain continues to get worse but he won’t give me the same medications I took for 13 years. I’m to the point that I pray for death because my pain is so bad and I’m never comfo... read more
There will be a decent wait time at in office visits/procedures. I get radio-frequency work done on my back and have a full managed care plan. Dr. Katabay is the most wonderful, personable, extremely knowledgeable anesthesiologist/pain specialist. He LISTENS. No pre-formed judgments. Be a good patient, keep appts and follow the rules for any meds & drug screening. That's life now. Very good doctor & his NP's . Dr Katabay & his NP's always listen and actually do as they say . They really care about you. Best Doctor's office i been to . HIGHLY RECOMMENDED .
