Surgery is always an anxious time for me because of my genetic issues but I have never felt safer than with Dr Karen Williams. She was aware of my history and had thoroughly reviewed my file when she conferred with me. Most anesthetist send an assistant for pre-op consult so I was pleasantly surprised to consult with the actual anesthetist. I never take the anesthetist role lightly because I had a relative pass from an anesthetist error. Dr Williams is thorough. If you're assigned to her you can relax because she is great.
