Hi folks, after experiencing severe tendinitis pain in my ankle for several months with several weeks of physical therapy and cortisone shots my pt suggested a visit with an osteopathic doctor (DO). I was a little leary of his recommendation of shoe orthotics (sole inserts) and nitro patches. But after a few days my pain was substantially eliminated and within ten days was completely gone. I would strongly recommend a visit to Dr. Berthold before visiting an orthopedic doctor.

I wish more doctors were like Dr. Berthold. I typically feel calmer when I leave his office. He takes a holistic approach and is extremely thorough. Additionally, he is very willing to listen and is very personable. Could not ask for more!
I was left with severe lower arm nerve pain after a Cervical Laminectomy. It continued every day for 5 years until I was treated by Dr. Berthold. This is after multiple tests, medicines, physical therapy and doctors. I felt hopeless and depressed when my surgeon ran out of suggestions. Dr. Berthold took a fresh, determined and caring approach to healing my pain. And his bed side manner is outstanding. My pain is reduced significantly thanks to this exceptional doctor.
I learn something new overtime I see him. He never seems rushed. He is thorough and professional yet personable and fun.
He's an excellent doctor who listens to you carefully. He wants you to participate in your own recovery. He moves in a deliberate manner, doesn't follow fads, holds himself and his employees to the highest standard of care and will fight for you in such a way that inspires one to hope and fight for improvement as well. I have recommended him to others and will continue to do so.
Dr. Berthold is kind and caring. Scheduling is easy and he provides options that are in the best interest of the patient. Very satisfied with his care. Have had 3 visits with him so far and have been very pleased with his service.
