You're a very kind friendly Dr. that seems to genuinely Care about your patients and you take time and listen to your patients and these are excellent qualities for a Dr. to have!!

Super nice, professional and friendly doctor. He showed compassion and really listened to what I had to say. Asked awesome questions and at no time did he make me fell bad. I went in for a LEMS diagnosis and will be returning for further testing and results. Thus far i would totally recommend him. I wanted to write this because I check all reviews for my new doctors. I didn't see anything negative at his office. His staff were amazing as well. They actually got me in withing a week!!!

Escalante was very rude to my mom when she was in the hospital. He forced her to get a lumbar puncture which if you know is excruciating pain, and come to find out he did it by her bedside and was not able to obtain any fluid. After being discharged, we went to a whole different neurologist, and she tells us Escalante had no right to do that, and it was not necessary for the diagnosis. Therefore, my mother went through all the pain of 3 needles in her back and it was all for nothing!!

I must begin by saying that 0/5 would have been the most appropriate review for my first visit with Dr. Escalante. My immediate impression is that this doctor needs to seriously remember his medical school training, as he didn't even conduct a basic history on a new patient. His apparent ineptitude and incompetence is outshined only by his lack of professionalism. His bedside manner leaves much to be desired. He is avaricious; motivated more by how much he'll earn rather than helping his patient

Waited more than an hour for my appointment. He doesn't pay attention to what you are explaining and talks over you (you can not finish your conversation), prescribed me a new medication and supposedly it was sent electronically to my pharmacy and the Rx never got there. I had to call several times in order to get the medication. 5 days later I was able to get the Rx, I called back because I was having some side affects and spoke to his nurse, left message and I'm still waiting for his call.

Staff is a joke. Dr is good but if your staff can't get it right from the first few times then you need new staff. I have given them three chances and today was the last chance. How do you cancel and appointment I set up months ago and no reason why and then expect me to wait three weeks for another one for my time I need. They were giving my primary dr office the run around for my results. I am changing Dr's because of all the issues the staff has given me.

My wife Nurys Vasquez 52 was seen at Florida Hospital emergency room back in November 2016 for memory loss, I was told to see a Neurologist who requested an MRI, not happy with the 1st neurologist I call Dr. Juan Ros Escalante who took his time with my wife and wanted to conduct more testing like a lumber puncher as well as a EEG and also check her ammonia level, he also requested to recheck her MRI from her last MRI test. As of today Dr. Escalante is caring and keeps trying to looks for answer.
