I had a surgery scheduled for three weeks in advance with Dr. Jones. I was called by his office the morning of the surgery and told the hospital messed up the scheduling and they had to cancel surgey. They explained that the doctor got a text from the hospital the day before which happened to be a Sunday. The hospital then called to give the check in instructions and was unaware my surgery was canceled. I was then informed that the hospital had nothing to do with scheduling his surgeries. Dr. Jones and his team is the best I ever worked with. Extremely caring, explaining in detail what needs to be done with excellent surgery skills. He answers any question, and if you need anything, you can write on his message, and he will answer very quickly with the right answer. He did performed 3 hernias in one surgery. After the surgery, to my surprise, I did not need heavy anti pain medicine. I commend and recommend Dr. Jones, and his team, including members of his office to anybody in need of a surgery.

My primary care doctor Robert DeBruin referred me to Dr. Jones for gallbladder removal. That fact alone gave me confidence even before my consultation. After meeting Dr. Jones I knew I was literally in great hands. He explained the procedure and what to expect afterwards. The first 4 days weren’t fun but by day 5 it was as though someone flipped a switch and I began to feel almost good as new! Incisions are tiny and eventually I expect will be unnoticeable. Josh Jones I cant say enough about!!!!!!! This dr is the BEST around Completely to the point He’s got the best bed side manner He’s operated on myself and removed my gal blatter He’s operated on my wife completely had to remove a section of her intestines and put them back together! He’s again operated on my wife two other times for different stomach issues Every time absolutely great He’s a complete family man 100% Josh has went as far as calling him as an emergency he even came to our home

I've had two laparoscopic procedures performed in recent months by Dr Jones and can highly recommend him. Both procedures went very well with minimal recovery time. He listens to concerns, answers questions, and doesn't rush through appointments. Folsom is lucky to have such a capable surgeon.

My husband had abdominal surgery with a stoma for cancer 2 yrs. ago at Stanford in Palo Alto. Afterwards, he developed a very large hernia. Dr. Joshua Jones is a general surgeon and head of surgery at Mercy Folsom. He examined my husband and quickly told us he knew he could do the hernia surgery. He has the best bedside manner of any doctor I've ever seen. We highly recommend him.

Dr. Jones is an incredible surgeon. I felt very safe in his hands. He explained my procedure with me & my family. I was a bit scared but he was awesome in creating a relationship of trust. I felt very safe in his skills & judgement

Great surgeon with an attentive bedside manner. He did my bilateral hernia surgery and I was pain-free and back to work within a few days. I've had 5 surgeries since 2011 and he ranks with the best of all the surgeons I've used. Highly recommend!
