Super happy with the experience. I was referred to Dr Mena for “sciatica”. I had blocks done in the past. They did not help. I was told I might need surgery for my back. I consulted with Dr Mena and interestingly enough after he examined me and looked at my MRI, he told me that my back was fine and I did not require surgery. He took an X-ray of my hip and he found that I had a very bad case of hip arthritis. He referred me to a hip surgeon and had hip replacement surgery. I am pain free now. Excellent! Took my mom for an appointment with Dr Mena. Very knowledgeable. He explained her condition and MRI step by step. Took time to discuss the treatment.
I went to Dr. Mena because of shoulder pain and a numbness in my right hand. Dr. Mena correctly diagnosed the problem as a carpal tunnel syndrome, severe in the right hand and moderate in the left. Dr. Mena referred me to the surgeon, Dr. Elizabeth Ouellette, who successfully operated on my hands. I'm very grateful to both Dr. Mena for diagnosing my problem, and Dr. Ouellette because of her surgery.

ook my mom on 1/28/19 to the Baptist Urgent Care. She was diagnosed with a fracture bone in the back. I was provided Dr Mena office information. I called next day. She was given an appointment the next morning. He explained thoroughly her condition. We opted for a brace to see how she did. but my mom was in so much pain and we called his office back and we requested the cement procedure. She had the procedure this week. She is walking, with no pain.

Dr. Mena is very professional and knowledgable. I saw him when I had severe lower back pain. Through the xrays and physical evaluation he quickly identified the problem. He prescribed physical therapy and more exercise, and I've been pain free since two weeks after seeing him. I highly recommend him.
He has been my doctor for years.. we are so happy with him and very understanding.
